LCD wont light up, or the apple light icon on display cover?
doesnt seem to hold charge i can hear the fans hard drive & DVD power up Disc will eject,no display light on cover or LCD

Try to connect the MacBook to an external monitor and check if you get video on the external. If so then you have a screen problem, if not then the logic board might be affected. Looks like a liquid spilled unit ???

Could be a dead inverter board or faulty cable / loose connection. Did you drop the MB?
