Why won't it turn on?

One day I was playing it and all of sudden it turned off. It wouldn't turn back on and I thought that maybe it was the battery I tried charging it fully and it just wouldn't ever turn back on.

does the nano react in any way ? - any sign of life on the computer when you connect the nano via usb ?
