The case of my old mbp is breaking apart : the display and the keyboard are literally two separated pieces as for now, but the mac itself works like a charm.
Repairing it would mean to buy all pieces of the case, which is clearly expensive.
I was thinking to buy a broken macbook pro on ebay (do you know a better place for EU?) and try to use its case on mine.
is it possible and how complicated would that be?

It is entirely possible. It is an advanced DIY project since you are completely diss/reasembling your laptop. If it is beyond you skill you could find out what a shop would charge if you provided the case.
Here, ebay - other parts suppliers shop around. Ensure that you are purchasing the same model year as yours. Mounting/connecting holes in logic boards may not line up if you cross model years.
