Transparent back panel won't fit

I ordered a iPhone 4 transparent back panel (Well, it was sent free of charge so I could review it in a blog), and it arrived yesterday.

However, my rear panel slides about half of the way, then it seems as something is in the way of the tiny plastic guides. Some other questions talked about receiving wrong items (Like for an iPhone 4S instead of a 4), but I think I received the appropiate part, as it's virtually identical to the original one. I don't know what to do :(

UPDATE: I tried to put it in again, and seeing that I only needed to slide it for about 0.8 mm I tried screwing carefully so the screws would pull the panel towards its intended position. Success!!

You got the wrong part. Happened to me and many others. Ifixit screwed the pooch on this one, but at least they are getting the replacement part right.

I don't know, the cover looks exactly like the stock one, how can I check? Is there like a list of differences between both so I can make sure it's not the wrong one?

Just match the posts against one another, measure their distance from the top or botton if you need to and compare the two.
