hdd not recognised
I replaced my Hard drive and I order a new ribbon cable... still not seeing hard drive

You might have a new 6GB/s HD that is not automagically detecting your 3GB/s SATA II connection - the other step is to format the HD so that you can install to it. You use Utilities->Tools->Disk Tools to format the drive to GUID partition...
