I installed a replacement iPhone 4 screen. I bent the lcd cable.

When I repaired my iphone 4 (gsm) it was all going well until I put the screen back on. In haste, I bent the lcd cable. I thought nothing of it. After I had put it back together it worked fine, apart from the lcd having dim lines on the screen where icons or writing were. It is not a big problem, I can live with it. But it would be nice to know if I can fix it by bending the cable back.
