phone wet, USB not connecting. appears broken. Can I replace?

My Iphone recently got wet. Not submerged, just damp from a sweating water cup. The USB connect visually appears damaged, charging wire has black on it as though it may have "short circuited" at same location of damage on Iphone side. SOund is gone too. Should I replace only the USB connection, or also the speaker? Thanks

Amanda, at this time, I would only replace the dock connector. Follow this guide for that. the part is available right here. While you do that, also clean your logic board with some 90%+ isopropyl alcohol to displace any other liquid. Hope this helps, good luck.
