Why wont my keyboard light work?

When I put and SSD into the Optical drive area and put back my computer. Then i installed mountain lion on it and the keyboard light does not work need this fixed.

It got a little bent when I was putting back but very little

Try resetting the SMC Apple T/N on resetting it

OK then you will need to check out the small ribbon cable for the keyboard backlight did you get seated into the connector correctly? or did it get damaged in the process of working on your system.
