Power Mac G4 Won't Connect To Internet

I have an old Power Mac G4. I have turned it on and tried to connect with the internet. It says that I am connected, I open up Safari and it takes me to the Apple online page. I then proceed to attempt to try to go to any other website, but right when I select enter, Safari closes and a pop-up says "Safari has quit unexpectedly." I can also go through any branches of the Apple website, just not any other.

Open Safari again and this time go to the Safari menu and click on Reset Safari check off as much as you can then restart your system is it any better? If not you have a corrupt file somewhere. Try creating a new user account and under that user see if you are able to connect then. If not you'll need to re-install Safari or you may need to check out your HD using Disk Utility (booting up from a different disk than what your checking).
