Volume buttons not working

I changed the iPhone 4S volume buttons and they are just unresponsive. I don't feel the "click".

I don't know what to do.

Thanks

The click comes from a circled shaped, silver or copper dimple. Sometimes they will lose their ability to "pop" in and out. You can check them by removing the volume key and first making sure that they are in the correct place and not missing (they can fall off during the replacement process) and second, that they have the resilience and "spring" to pop in and out. Just hold against a surface that is firm and push down with your finger. I have replaced theses by taking from older model iPhones.
