iPod parts broke where you enter the charger.

The little pieces in my ipod at the bottom where you plug the charger in at are broke, and im not sure if its replaceable..

Jenna M, it is replaceable, but will require some very special soldering. You will of course have to totally disassemble the iPod. The dock connector is solder onto the board. You will have to do lots of soldering. You will have to un-solder two anchors and about 30 connections, they are very small and close to each other. So you have to take extra care not to shorten the pins out. After that you will have to resolder all those connections and the two anchors. Not an easy task, unless you are used to soldering small pieces. This video is not for a 4th gen but will give you an idea what you are up against. Hope this helps, good luck.
