The moisture warning is on permenantly.

The moisture warning on my Panasonic CamcorderNV-DS65EN is always on, even when the camera has been kept in a warm, dry environment for 24 hours. I suspect that the moisture sensor has failed, but have no idea where in the camera it is fitted and what disassembly is necessary to reach it. Replacing it would be no problem if only I could find it!

Electronic moisture sensors have to be exposed to the air somehow, the ICs often have a small cut in them with a felt window that looks similar to what you see on a small microphone.
