Installing Ram iMac 27''

Hi there,

I am going to purchase the newest model iMac 27'' and i need to know how to install extra Ram and what type of Ram i need?

I want to install 2x 16GB as soon as i have the iMac as i don't want to pay the extra for Apples Ram.

Here are the specs of the machine.

Good news with the 27" you do not need to take the screen off to increase the size of the RAM, complete the following guide to install additional RAM iMac Intel 27" EMC 2546 RAM Replacement

Other World Computing will be able to tell you what type of RAM is required please see the following link

Buy the ram where you can find it, eBay normally have good prices, but iFixit can provide these as well PC3L-12800 8 GB RAM Chip

I hope this helps, if you need any more help just ask.
