Broken battery flex cable
how do you remove the battery from the main logic board.

Hello!
The battery is soldered to the logic board, so to remove it you need to heat up the solder pads using a soldering iron. Apply heat to the shiny solder pads not the ribbon cable. I recommend buying some solder wick for the removal, it collects all the solder so when it cools and sets again (Seconds after heat is removed) Then it cannot adhere probably as there is no connection or a minimal one.
It isn't needed but if you are with little experience then doing this will remove a lot of the frustration involved when the different solder pads cool whilst you're applying heat to the others.
