what's the latest version that can be fixed?

Hi Guys,

I'm looking to upgrade my 2007 13" macbook.

I remember that ifixit mentioned that some of the newer models have now basically become difficult if not impossible to repair.

What is the latest model macbook or macbook Pro I can get that still allows for repairs? (and has a good reliability history)

Thanks so much!

ps if it was not for ifixit my old macbook would not be working.

The current MacBook Pro Classic (ones with the optical drive) are repairable and user expandable (HD or RAM).

All of the current unibody systems have issues if you spill anything into the keyboard as the keyboards are part of the upper case. Also the displays can be tricky if you break them.

Hint - Don't spill anything into or sit on them ;-}
