Why is airport and soundcard not working?

Hello,

At first my airport hardware wasn´t working. (Hardware couldn´t be found.) After that my screen would remain black when turning the the MBP on, unless i pressed (apple+alt+r+p).The same problme occurs when in sleep mode for a long time. Now I have the same problem with my soundcard.

It seems that my MBP is slowly falling apart:-(

It is one of the first Generation but I would appreciate if you tell me how to save it? Or at least if it is worth repairing it?
