The new AirPort Extreme & Time Capsules supports 802.11ac which is the most current IEEE WiFi standard. The older AirPort Extreme & AirPort Express support 802.11n and the first generation support 802.11a/b.
As to the systems the only 802.11ac system is the just released MacBook Air systems. Otherwise the other Intel systems support 802.11n. Older PowerPC systems support 802.11a/b.
