when i am working on my lap suddenly it shut downs..it works only when it is plugged in...though i charge my lap for entire day it works only for less than one hour with this poor battery..please suggest me what to do...?is this a major problem...?which components should i change...pls help me.

nikhil, "works only for less than one hour" is pretty indicative of a bad battery. Replace that first. There may be other issues, but this is the first step in getting it working again. Hope this helps, good luck.
