Any ideas what I might have done to cause this?

I was replacing the power button/proximity sensor on my phone, had everything back together, went to turn it on, and now my screen is inverted.

I more than likely caused this.. I'm just not entirely sure if this would be a screen issue caused by the display flex cable, or maybe the logic board? Or something else completely.

I apologize if a similar question has been answered. My searches have so far been in vain.

You have damaged the LCD flex cable no doubt about it.. There is a little ribbon attached to the LCD skinny little thing and if it is snagged or pulled by the motherboard when installing this will happen.. I've learned from experience

I wonder if you may have accidentally turned on the 3 click accessibility feature which not surprisingly is called "Invert Colors" or something like that. Go into settings and check your accessibility settings.
