When I hit one icon, the one to the left opens.

I shattered the glass on my iPhone and replaced the front panel, but now when I touch one icon the one to the left opens. When I type on the keyboard, the letter 2 spaces to the left actually appears. We tried resetting the connectors multiple times, but the problem persists.

Options

You're going to need a whole new display assembly or digitizer. You'll need to figure it out with no info on the iPhone you own.
