Where is the serial number for a verizon phone?

I have a pentalobe screw driver and i pulled the back of the phone off but i cannot find the tray that has the serial number for the phone. The software on the phone is messed up and giving me a -1 on restore in DFU mode.. An apple representative told me the only way to get the serial number was inside the phone. My question is.. after getting the back off.. where do i find the number?
