How to fix half gone flickering display for iPhone4?

I dropped my phone on hard floor. Everything else works fine except for the screen display. I can only see the half of the right side. What do you suggest I do, or what's the problem with the display?

But sensor still works despite the screen being smudged

Ok, that's what i was meaning. Your display is probably down. Being down doesnt mean that all the screen is entirely down and the pixels off. Mabe just the the half is dead. You may try and open it to check the connectors and if you eventually see small cracks on the display under the glass.

The link to iPhone 4 display assembly includes the whole glass+display assembly. Replacing it may solve your problem.

If your iPhone is not physically damaged and still under warranty, you can also bring it to the Apple Store Genius Bar to try and get a new one.

Hmmm. Okay. Thanks Vincent! I'll bring to the Apple store tomorrow to get it done.
