alarm not stoping, had to disconnect the battery

my car (Honda accord 2004 EX) was vandalized and all the control units were removed. i need to get the car in for replacement but the alarm wont just go off even when i start the ignition. dont know if it will eventually go off if i leave the ignition on ...or move the car. i need a quick fix.

I don't have any specific experience with this problem but you can try these:

Remove the alarm fuse. You should be able to look at the owners manual to locate the specific fuse, if there is one.

Disconnect the car horn (assuming this is the source of the sound). This won't stop the alarm from activating but will silence it. This solution can drain the battery too.

Disconnect the battery while the car is parked.
