Choppy, Robotic, Muffled Calls on iPhone4

Hi, I do have an issue with my iPhone 4 GSM. I get to call someone, and I get to hear them a-okay. However, they seem not to hear me correctly.

I tried searching over the internet and found that it may be an issue somewhere with the noise cancellation microphone, that it maybe dusty or dirty. I tried putting in pressure of air into the headphone jack and the very tiny noise cancellation microphone and it seem to have worked. however, there are still times that the robotic sound would occur.

How could I still go about this issue despite the efforts of cleaning it out?

Based on your description it still sounds like reception problem. The cell tower cannot hear your phone good enough, causing errors in transmission beyond error correcting can manage. Voice stream with a lot of error bits will sound choppy or robotic. Try move to an area with very strong signal to confirm the issue
