Replaced DVD/optical...DVD slot doesn't line up

After using your repair manual, which is awesome, my DVD/optical drive appears like its not in line. I tried to play a DVD and it was very difficult to insert.

I followed your manual exactly, but did notice that the right corner of DVD drive seemed a little higher than I thought it should be..

Any ideas on what to do?

Options

Buy the right part. Your optical drive is not of a model (e.g. UJ-857-C or UJ-867 or GSA-S10N or three other models) that are compatible with your machine.
