How much does it cost to fix rear suspension?

I hit a large pot hole while under large load appears 1 leaf is broken in middle. I jacked it up readjusted it. How unsafe is it to drive? Whats that take to fix? $$?

I'd say it's very unsafe to drive. Breaking a leaf spring isn't easy. It had to have taken a substantial impact. In the worse case, you may have even bent the axle.

The cost will vary a lot. If you can do the work, get a used leaf spring from the junk yard. If not, a repair shop would probably charge you a couple of hours labor plus parts.

You should be to find specific cost information for the part on the Internet. There are labor guides too. Then you'll know if you're getting a fair price for the work.

You don't have to go to the dealer to have this fixed.
