harddisk replaced, now book wont startup

harddisk was working fine (OS10.3.6) but very small (60 Giga), replaced it by a full working 120 giga disk from a powerbook g4 15" with OS X 10.4. stopped loading in process all times. replaced it with the old one again. now book does neither start nor shows any reaction , fannoise etc. book stays dead. powersupply lights orange without battery, with battery that is full (5 green butttons) lights green.

anyone any idea what the problem might be?

Recheck all your connectors many times connectors that "appear" or "seemed" complete were found to be not square, snapped in, ribbon cable right side up, inserted completely, cam locked in place.
