Phone stuck in dock mode

My phone thinks its stuck in dock mode, it thinks as if i'm connected to a dock even when i am not and sometimes it skips between thinking its connected and not connected.

everything works just annoying it constantly switches between modes and calls drop.

The pins in your dock connector probably have a little corrosion inside. Try cleaning it with some 91% Isopropyl Alcohol and a tooth brush (gently or you may damage the golden pins inside). If that does not work, then the dock is definitely damaged and can be replaced fairly easily. Parts are sold on this website if I recall correctly.

I was having problems with mine since water got in/on the phone. After 3 minutes of oven treatment at less than 150F my phone still had a shorted dock connector. Even blowing in it with a can of air didn't do the trick. However, the alcohol trick worked, it's been better and better over time since I did that. Thank you for suggesting it. :)
