Why does my MacBook Pro ask me to find the home network?

Each time I start up my MacBook Pro it asks me to find the home network. It will not access it automatically.

There is a good possibility your PRAM battery is dead. Check your Date & Time after restarting your system when you are not connected to any network. If its not correct then you'll need to replace it. If not you'll need to reset the PRAM Apple TN on NRAM & PRAM
