iPhone 4 lock button broken & black screen

About 2 months ago I got a color change on my iphone 4, it was working perfectly. Then probably a month later my lock/sleep button broke. It's unresponsive it's kind of jammed not sure how it happened. Two days ago I woke up and my screen was all black kind of dark blue but I can still hear it ringing & receiving texts. I can't reset my phone because the lock button is jammed so I'm not sure what to do.

Let the battery go dead, plug it in and hopefully the lcd will work, then turn on your assistive touch so you have an option to use your sleep button, or you could replace your sleep button flex,,by the way a hard reset may not fix your screen, you should check your lcd connections, and you may need a replacement screen , good luck.
