What screen is in the late 2012 iMac 27inch?

I'm trying to figure out who makes the screen in the latest iMac (LG?) and what would be the most comparable (or exact same panel) monitor I could buy to match it. Even just a model number or serial number on the display might help in searching for a match.

The new thin iMac's use a fused LCD panel. As far as I know this is an OEM part only. As the system is still under warranty in most cases you should be able to get it fixed under it or if it has expired just a bench fee. Can you explain why you need to replace the LCD.

Open the back, (you're going to have to do this to replace it anyway) on the lower corner of the display there will be a manufacturer sticker with information that will help find a replacement.

Vendors can help find/supply equivalent displays, and I would insist that the vendor guarantee the part is compatible (or you could get stuck with restock fees). There are many different "part numbers" that could work as, AFIK, there is no universal standard for identifying these components.

It's an LG LM270WQ1 (SD)(F1).
