I dropped it in sea water and it wont turn on?

i was on a board walk and my friend pushed me into the water while i had my phone.

i rushed to put my phone in rice(approx. 2-3 min) and waited two-three days and when i took it out it still would not turn on. I connected the charger and the orange light comes on but nothing else. I dont know if i can fix it but i really need to, it has been 9 days since i dropped it, is there still a way to fix it?

Hey man, sorry to say this, but other than completely disassembling your phone, there is no way to fix it. I would simply recommend getting a new one. I would actually consider getting a Galaxy S4 if you were too go for buying a new phone.

robbie, do not try to charge or turn your phone on. you are running the risk of causing further damage. By now it is definitely time to disassemble your phone. Follow this guide. Once you have totally disassembled, clean every part with a high grade isopropyl alcohol (90%+) and/or sterile water and a soft brush. Clean it carefully but thouroughly. check for any missing, or burned component. Remove any EMI shields etc, that could harbor corrosion that you most likely already see. Once it is cleaned, including every connector and cables end, replace the battery. Reassemble your phone and re-evaluate for any damage. Hope this helps, good luck.
