I replaced my screen and it powers on, but not touch screen?

I used your video to replace my shattered kindle fire glass. The device powers on, but does not work to touch. What did I do wrong? What are my next steps?

I would definitely check the digitizer connection first. Make sure its plugged all the way in and doesn't appear damaged or heavily bent.

If everything looks good then its possible its a defective part. Check with the supplier you ordered the part from and see if they will replace it.
