Replaced left fan, but still runs hot
I replaced the left fan successfully, and the noise problem is solved, but it still get to hot on the left side....

I would download a temperature monitoring application like Temperature Gauge from thew App Store, then you can isolate what is running hot across all of the sensors. To make sure your AOK.
In this model the HD is located on the left so you have a lot of I/O going on (heating it up).
You may need to run Activity Monitor to see what application process is consuming the CPUs cycles which is using the HD. You could have something normal running or something that needs to be investigated more deeply.

I just repaired one with the same issue. Cleaning the fans and other dust from the inside then removing and properly applying new cpu thermal paste did the trick.

Try some arctic silver thermal paste. It'll cool the processor down.
