Replaced battery still not working.
I bought a broken Iphone to repair and when i turn it on, the apple icon lights up and then it immediate turns off. I plugged it in and it turned on briefly with 2% battery and then died, even though it was plugged into the power source.
I figured it was probably a problem with the battery so I bought a new battery and replaced it but it is still not working. Now it turns on to the apple screen and then just turns off. When I plug it in it goes to the apple screen and then advises to to plug it in to a power source because the battery is dead.
I then figured the problem was with the charger port so i took it out and put it back in, and still no luck. Same thing keeps happening.
Anyone have any idea what might be wrong with it?
Is this a good question?
Hi emiliaduno2, it could be the charger port that needs to be replaced. But it also could indicate a damaged motherboard, e.g. through water damage. Are the water indicators inside white or red?
