Any chance for repair after a short drop without physical damage?

I dropped my N7 in its soft case a few days ago, not even a meter onto the hard floor. It was in standby and I saw the display switch of like a classic CRT monitor. The unit looks like new from the outside.

Since then I was unable to switch it back on. I had it charge over night and tried a bunch of long presses to get it back to the living.

After carefully opening its back, I cannot say if there is any physical damage to the unit from that side, the connectors seem to sit as firm as possible.

Is there any way to find out what is wrong, if it is physically broken and what it might cost?

You probably have a damaged LCD. On this tablet, the LCD is fused to the glass panel.
