Changed coils around and still no spark on one of the cylinders. think its the main brain but having trouble locating it. Need help finding it and how to fix it. Kohler Sv740-0020 engine model number 917.288740 Thanks,

Neal, when you say you replaced the coil, I assume you replaced the ignition module on your flywheel stator assembly. If a new module for that cylinder still did not work, I would next replace the rectifier/regulator. Download the service manual for your Kohler engine from here. It has the trouble shooting sequence for the three different ignition systems that are being used. Hope this helps, good luck.
