Dropped my ipad now has white grayish screen with thin green line.

Hi i dropped my ipad on its back. Now i have white grayish blank screen with one thin green line. Doesnt seem to have cracks. The touch works. I tried to give it some slaps on the back didnt work. Does anyone have a clue what could be the real problem?

sounds like the lcd is broken, it doesn't have to be cracked to malfunction
