Use motherboard of MBP mid 2009 in case of MBP mid 2010?

Hello all,

got unlucky and broke my top-case and screen of Macbook Pro 13'' unibody Mid 2009.

I can buy a full case (top + bottom case, screen, etc) of a MBP 13'' Mid 2010.

Both (mid2009 and mid2010) are A1278 models.

Could this be done? Can i take my motherboard/disk/battery of my mid2009 MBP and put in the case of MBP mid2010?

Seems compatible but you should be confirming this with your vendor, so that if there is a problem you are not charged a return/restock fee.

The display/full top case of MBP mid-2010 is working OK in a MBP mid-2009.
