HOw to fix the cooling fan?

My fan stopped working and I want to fix it !!!!

Abaza, I just added the manual to the device page. Go to this page. Scroll down to the bottom, you should see the Document headline, right below it is the link for the service manual. Download that, on page 75 an on is what you are looking for. Hope this helps, good luck.

try updating the BIOS if it doesnt work then put some pressure air on the fan and ventilation inlets and clean the dust off from the fan if it also doesnt work then take a small pin and put it in the fan and try to move the fan manually by supporting it with the pin your fan will definatly start working again if it also doesnt work then you should replace the fan. it worked for me :)

How can I identify the bios

Try entering the bios first to see if their is a diagnostic tool to detect faulty Hard ware.

I assume the fan just fried and died, so you are going to have to replace the heatsink/fan.

This takes a bit of skill and mechanical ability. Assuming a faulty fan You will have to:

1. get a replacement fan/heatsink for your laptop

2. take the old heatsink/fan off

3. put the new heatsink/fan on.
