Hi, ive dropped my IPhone 4s and cannot get any data from it as the computer wont pick it up. it also wont charge which suggests the charge slot is broken. also wont connect to itunes so cannot get photos etc from the phone. ive not used itunes back up either, so is the any other way to retrieve, thanks

neil, not unless you fix your phone. Start with the dock connector based on this "he computer wont pick it up. it also wont charge which suggests the charge slot is broken. also wont connect to itunes so cannot " All those things start at the dock connector. Use this guide to replace this part. While working on it, check your logic board and cables/connectors for any further (obvious) damage. Hope this helps, good luck.
