Why does my riding mower die after 15 minutes of operation?

My Craftsman riding mower has been recently tuned up with a new plug, oil and filter change, and new air filter. It runs excellent, but after about 15 minutes of operation it stalls and won't stay running. If I let the engine cool for an hour or so it starts and runs excellent, but repeats the process again.

Please help,

Rick

It sounds like you may have something in your fuel tank. I had this happen to me once. I had trash in the tank and it would float and eventually be sucked up to the fuel line and block it causing the mower to shut off.
