Pin missing from the dock connector, can this be repaired?

On an I pod Nano 3rd generation (8GB) a pin has come of from the dock connector hence I cannot charge any longer or connect to I tunes (via PC). Can this be repaired and if so where ? Also needs to be a viable cost too !

Thanks

This is a

DIY (do it yourself) site...if such fine soldering is beyond your ability (soldering of logic boards is a fine skill) maybe a local computer or electronics store could solder the pin or a bridge wire for you.
