What CPU can change to iMac 21.5"?

May I change Core 2 Duo E8400

and Core 2 Quad Q9400.

The 3.33ghz C2D

is the fastest CPU the iMac will accept, and should be fast enough for most applications you'd use on an iMac.

AFAIK C2D is a dead format, The successors to the Core 2 brand are a set of Nehalem microarchitecture based processors called Core i3, i5, and i7. Core i7 was officially launched on November 17, 2008 as a family of three quad-core processor desktop models, further models started appearing throughout 2009.

3.06GHz Intel Core i3 processor with 4MB level 3 cache; supports Hyper-Threading

Is it possible to change the processor to Quadcore on this model?
