when i switch on the mobile it displays SONY then XPERIA and then shows the screen and immediately restarts with SONY and then goes on. Can i find any solution for the mentioned problem

normally this is problem on software part of your phone. flash the phone with latest flash file(software file). if you have experience of flashing the phones then find flash file and flashing application within internet. if flashing phone is new experience for you please find a guide from a professional. for further help contact me
