I would like to repair my broken display. It works perfect. Everything is okay only the glass has a crack. Which parts do I need? Only the display or also the frame?

It sounds like you only need to replace the digitiser. This is stuck to the LCD and requires some skill to seperate and stick the new one on. Be sure to wear eye protection when removing the cracked one.

Also take care with the ribbon cable attachment of the digitizer to the main PCB. If you damage whee the digitizer attached to the main PCB, you can just stop, as it's all over.

I've seen iPhones like that show physical damage on the inside. Once the digitizer was out, the dock connector *fell* out. The impact that shattered the glass, broke all the solder joints of the dock connector. The bizarre thing was the dock connector worked prior to disassembly, as it was sandwiched in, until we took the digitizer out.

Good Luck!
