Click wheel still not working?

One day in my school bus my iPod fell and it was working after that i didn't use it for months, then suddenly i tried setting it on well the click wheel didn't work at that time so i tried to replace the click wheel. After a successful click wheel repair, i tired turning it "on" still it doesn't work.

Please help me?

I read online and it seems that i have to replace the mother board. Is it true?

Thanks in advance

Karan Bindal, you do want to make sure that your properly connected your click wheel. Check the connector on the logic board and make sure that the click wheel is inserted all the way and straight. If it is, then it is possible that you have a bad click wheel, replace it again, or a broken logic board. Make sure that your hold switch is in the off position. A iPod that is locked by the hold switch will also leave your click wheel as non-operational. Hope this helps, good luck.
