iPhone 5 (BROKEN) - NO SIM - How to Fix?

I dropped it yesterday and it is stuck on "no sim" No cellular activity at all. No texts, no calls. NO CELL SERVICE at all. There is a crack on the screen. Its hard to see but is goes from the bottom left corner to about middle of the phone on the right side. Phone worked great up until that point with no problems. PHONE DOES NOT HAVE CELL SERVICE NO CALLS or TEXT MESSAGES.

Any help on fixing this?

What Rich said, but don't forget to turn off your phone before removing the SIM card.

If the screen is cracked then you will obviously need to replace it however the no SIM message may be cleared by simply removing the SIM and reinstalling it.

There is a small SIM drawer on the right side of the phone with a little hole in it - use the little tool that came with phone or a paper clip if you dont have it handy and press it into the hole to eject the SIM.
