OEM SATA 3 6G cable not good enough for 6G
I recently upgraded to a OWC Mercury Extreme Pro 6G SSD drive. After a clean install of 10.8.3, I found that I would get beach balls all the time. Tried the same install with an Intel Series 520 SSD, same results. After hours of research I found that the OEM cable has issues running at 6G and gets crosstalk from the battery indicator cable that is in the same harness. I was able to alleviate the issue for time being using 2 sheets of Reynolds Wrap to shield the SATA cable.
I want to know if this replacement part sold on ifixit would resolve this issue so I don't have to use the redneck shielding method? Does anybody know if it's shielded well enough to handle the 6G bandwidth and not get interference from the other cable?

Is this a good question?
