How can I ensure the microphone is properly re-adhered in place?

I'm repairing the microphone part in this iPad 2. It was damaged by moisture a month ago and doesn't function properly. So, I elected to open the iPad and replace the part.

I've performed the steps necessary to open the iPad, however, I'm finding upon replacing the part that the factory adhesive foam around the front camera assembly won't do as well as before. Since this repair requires removing the camera/headphone jack assembly, some of the cables and foam are not adherent enough to my liking. Is there some product I can use to ensure the microphone, front camera, and LCD are properly seated with new adhesive?

I have the adhesive strips for the glass, but there isn't anything in the set to use on the other parts in my repair.

Thanks,

Paul
